Title by title

Let’s face it, title by title licensing for films is the worst possible model.  It requires administering title requests for every new film, and renewals for every title you license.  It’s also unfair because it typically charges larger institutions with hundreds of views per title the same as smaller institutions with only a few views.

The subscription licensing model is great for unlimited use and exploration of new titles, but as fees go up, you end up paying for a lot of titles you don’t want to get a few titles you do want.

Platino Educa believes that pay per view licensing is the only fair model.  Professors and students can explore new titles, watch what they want, and everyone pays only $3 per view.*  The problem…cost control!  If a few movies go viral, budgets get blown. 

At Platino Educa, we fixed cost control.  Our licensing fees are capped at a maximum fee and additional views are free.  We give you the budget control of a subscription model, without the risk.  Think of it as a subscription that gives you a refund for low use.  Imagine that!
